
Hotels in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and other parts of the world have been serving as quarantine hotels during the coronavirus pandemic. While the rooms revenue is modest (and sometimes paid by the government) hoteliers report that it brings in much needed revenue for their hotels. It also helps serve the public good by helping to keep potentially infected people away from the general populace.
But, is it a good idea or might it give the hotel a stigma as an unsafe place? What do you think?
